Propolis is a natural product extracted from beeswax that protects against bacteria, heals damaged tissues and stimulates plant resistance. Propolis contains vitamins and flavonoid and is a preventative treatment, particularly for leafy salads and fruit, ahead of adverse climatic conditions.
Application and dose-rates
– Nursery grown stock: prior to or following transplanting
– Fruit Crops: after physical damage [eg pruning or weather damage] and during rapid fruit development
– Leafy Salads: after physical damage [eg weather damage] and during rapid growth of leaf tissue
– Dose-rates: 2.2-2.7 L/Ha applied in 250 – 1000 L/Ha water
